FOX31 Denver Interviews John Lipsky and Randall Weiner for Story About Moving Prairie Dogs to Rocky Flats

FOX31 Denver interviewed Jon Lipsky, who headed the FBI raid on Rocky Flats in 1989, and attorney Randall Weiner about recently released plans to relocate over 200 prairie dogs from Longmont to the Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge.  Nuclear weapons were made at Rocky Flats for decades.  Burrowing prairie dogs can disturb radioactive waste on the site, bringing plutonium buried underground to the surface. Read the story and watch the news segment here.
